About SBTC

Our Vision

To provide a low cost, social, inclusive and supportive environment for individuals of all levels and abilities to train in a group and compete in triathlon or other aligned sports, and improve their health and fitness.

South Bank Triathlon Club

Southbank Triathlon Club (SBTC) commenced as a not-for-profit and entirely volunteer run club on 1st July 2010.

Since that time the club has grown to provide a significant contribution to the sport of Triathlon within Queensland.

South Bank Triathlon Club’s model deliberately caters to athletes looking for an avenue to undertake structured yet non-intimidating training environments. The operating model centres around those looking to do Triathlons primarily to maintain good health and overall well-being in a social environment.

Backed by Accredited coaches and exceptional sponsors, all of which appreciate our all-inclusive model, “SBTC” makes a conscious effort to undertake a significant number of FREE or low cost training sessions that incorporate all levels of ability. The model has proven popular.

Since the club’s commencement in 2010, SBTC has attracted over 200 financial members each year.
