Information about the 16 weekly sessions:
Swims:
We swim at Somerville House Sports and Aquatic Centre Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 5:30 to 7:00am along with Monday and Wednesday afternoons 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Aligned with the River City Masters swimming club we have all levels of ability. So even if you are a novice you can do the first few weeks of sessions with fins, thereby conditioning the arms and getting used to swimming longer distances. $9 per session which includes Pool entry and Coaching.
Rides:
Our “novice” rides are run by our cycle sponsor Fusion Cycles. These rides are Thursday 5:30 to 7:00am and Sunday mornings 6:30 to 8:30am from their Newstead Shop. Cost – Free
We also do a Monday morning Time Trial ride. This departs from 2XU at 5:15am. Cost – Free for members
Every Tuesday and Thursday night through Boomtime Cycle Systems we hold Tri Brick sessions. At $10 per session these will strongly challenge your aerobic and muscular fitness thereby ensuring you keep you Bike / Run skills sharp through the Tri season. 6:00pm to 7:10pm at Langlands Pool, Stones Corner.
Every second Saturday we do a long and challenging ride for the more accomplished riders and a monthly Sunday Social ride for all levels of ability! Cost – Free for members
Runs:
We hold our main run sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 5:45-6:45am. Departing from the 2XU store on Grey St, South Brisbane, these sessions are under the guidance of trained and successful runners and running coaches.
These are a good opportunity to get to know your fellow club mates, and find some great training buddies. As we have athletes of all abilities, do not fear being left behind! Cost – Free for members
We also coordinate Saturday Trail Runs. We typically have one 60min + one 90min both which take off from the Gap at 7am. Cost – Free for members
LATEST ADDITION – Strength + Conditioning sessions:
One of our founding sponsors, Fitnance Australia, has taking their support one step further by designing two triathlon inspired Core Strength sessions for members to come along to should they wish. For just $10 per session, the qualified trainers take our athletes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through the pains of elite strength and conditioning to make a serious dent in PB times.
