SBTC AGM + Sign on Day Sunday 19 June 2011

With all but one major Triathlon series left for the rest of this racing season (Cairns Airport Challenge Series), so ends a historic first year for our great club!
With aspirations to get at least 30 members by year’s end … we amassed a total of 144 members! So to all of you, THANK YOU for a great year. Whilst we will celebrate this accordingly on July 8th, we must also set our sights and plans on next season! To do this, the club will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19th June 2011. For those interested in attending either to nominate for a position on the committee or vote for such, it will be held at 9am at Somerville House.
Then from 10:30am we will have our BBQ sign-on day for the 2011/12 season at the pool deck. Membership will again be only $40 for members. For those that sign on the day we will have a few little treats in the sign on pack just like we did last year!
Want to volunteer on our committee?
In year 2 of our existence we are expanding the particular roles of the committee members to capitalise on our large numbers. For those that are keen to take a position within the committee, please see the following roles below. Applications can be taken during the meeting. However, it would be preferred that anyone keen to be considered for a position, indicate their nomination by way of email to the club. The roles are all open and available to seek nominations from willing members. Current Committee members are also invited to be considered for re-election.
